Nikitha Narayan to get hitched?

Following the footsteps of Amala Paul and Chinmayi Sripada, celebrities who entered wedlock this year, seems to be model-turned-actress Nikitha Narayan. Awaiting the release of her film, ‘Ladies and Gentleman’, the lissome actress, who was once linked to her ‘It’s My Love Story’ co-star Arvind Krishna, will tie the knot with a Bangalore-based businessman shortly.

When we contacted the actress, former Miss Fresh Face of Hyderabad, for a confirmation, she denied the happening. She said, “I am surprised by the news! If I really get a Bangalore-based businessman, I would not hesitate to take the plunge straightaway; unfortunately the news is untrue. However, any news that brings in publicity – be it good or bad – is great for me. It helps me to stay in the spotlight.”

She added further, “I am just 23; why would I want to get married at this point of time when everything is going great on the career front?”

However, a source points out that the marriage is definitely on the cards. “Fearing that the promotions of her upcoming films might get affected due to her marriage, the actress is not forthcoming on the topic. It’s an arranged alliance and the wedding is scheduled to take place once ‘Ladies and Gentleman’ hits the screens,” adds the source.

The actress is also awaiting the release of her long-pending film, ‘Tanu Monne Vellipoindi’ with senior director Vamsi.
