Salman becomes ‘Baadshah’
Salman Khan will be making a comeback as Prem in Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Pao’. But what’s more interesting is that he will play a dual role in the film and one of the roles will see him as Ratan, a king with a heart of gold. Prem will be a “common man” who is incidentally Ratan’s identical twin.
Salman Khan will be making a comeback as Prem in Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Pao’. But what’s more interesting is that he will play a dual role in the film and one of the roles will see him as Ratan, a king with a heart of gold. Prem will be a “common man” who is incidentally Ratan’s identical twin.
A source close to the production revealed, “Sooraj has written the character of Ratan with Salman in mind. He’s the ideal Raja who is loved and worshipped by his subjects. Sonam Kapoor plays the role of a princess.”
Though Sooraj's films rarely have characters with negative shades, this film will see Neil Nitin Mukesh donning a strong negative character. “Neil is playing a vengeful prince who is King Salman’s step-brother,” informs the source.
