There are movies that have the gross of 100-150 crores for a reason that goes over my head. The movies that have made their way to the 100 crore club makes us wanna gag! Albeit there are movies that have a perfect pitch and are really inspirational, they come and go out of the theaters unnoticed. Here is a list of such movies that are meant to be atched by everyone atleast once:

1. Iqbal:

This movie is about a young man Iqbal who grows up to eat, sleep and live cricket. He is unique not because he is dumb and mute, but because he does not consider that a limitation. He doesn’t give up on his dreams even after being rejected almost all the times. Even though the story doesn’t have any twists and turns it holds the audience interest right down to the last ball. It's a story that leaves you inspired and shows the power of the human mind. Iqbal is not only about cricket.

2. Lakshya:

This is a film about the maturing of an aimless upper-middle-class youth against the backdrop of a war that is still fresh in the memory of most Indians. This movie has the capability to make us smile, cry, think all at the same time. Lakshya will make you believe in yourself and makes you feel that there is nothing that you cannot do, which is a lesson much needed for today’s youth.

3. A Wednesday:

The core of ‘A Wednesday’ is faith, or more like the loss of faith. This movie revolves around a common man who plants bombs in five places around the city and informs the police department to follow his instruction to know where the bombs are. This movie can be regarded as a cult film which will make us wish that something like this would happen is REAL life.

4. No one killed Jesica:

This movie is a powerful morality tale, with a pinch of humor, born of irony. This is a real life story where a 34 year Delhi based model was killed which provoked the common man to rise as one and demand, from the judiciary and the executive, justice for Jessica. It saw the media truly play its role as watchdog. This movie shows how powerful media can actually be and that there is still faith in humanity left!

5. Paan Singh Tomar:

Some films are meant to run that extra mile to go beyond being a mere cinematic experience. As we see names of real-life athletes who died unsung flash across the screen at the end of Paan Singh Tomar we realise what we've just witnessed in the past 190 minutes of taut playing-time is not just film. It's a treatise on what destiny has in store for people who do not conform to socially-acceptable definitions of success. with the hidden social message, this movie never stops being a liberating experience.
