About the Movie:

Mary Kom (Priyanka Chopra) is a poor farmer's daughter who loves boxing. She lives in a remote part of Manipur. A boxer from neighbouring village recognises Mary's Talent and coaches her. The rest of the story is about how Mary realises her dream but at the same time stuck in a domestic life like every other woman. Can she strike a work-life balance? Does her husband support her? How does she battle the odds forms the crux of the story.

Priyanka has tried her best to get into the skin of the character. She has great acting potential and that is seen in the role she has played

A few scenes are very emotional as many women can relate to them. (Tip: Carry your handkerchief) Overall, a real life story that reflects the bitter truth
