Golden Star Ganesh ditches Kanwarlal producer after taking advance

It's a known fact that Sandalwood's Golden Star Ganesh was to act in Producer Ganesh's ambitious project Kanwarlal, a remake of the Hindi hit Dabangg. The actor had even taken an advance of close to 23 lakhs eight months ago. But now, he's not willing to work in the film.

Dinesh Gandhi, the producer has even bough the remake rights from Arbaaz Khan for Rs 43 lakhs. Now with Ganesh willing to return the money but not wanting to work in the film, Dinesh is in a fix. He has approached the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) and the Kannada Film Producers Association (KFPA) asking them to convince Ganesh to act in the film.
