All those who are familiar with the Kannada film industry or what is today referred to as Sandalwood know the name Shankar Nag. One of the most versatile actors that the industry had. Although the maverick artiste died in an accident at a very young age, the name continues to live in spirit.
We all know that Kannada film titled "A Day in the city" is all set to hit theatres on February 27. Made a bunch of newcomers, the movie deals with the challenges modern generation faces in a city owing to lack of time and selfishness. The makers have not opted for any lavish promotions. Instead they have decided to use yesteryear late actor Shankar Nag to do the job. Well, not him really! Titled Auto Raja Shankar Nag's Vision for Namma Bengaluru, the strategy is truly unique. Put your headphones on and hear the voice you know what I am talking about...
