An official statement read: “In the past, films like Balanagamma (1942), Pathala Bhairavi (1951) and Adavi Ramudu (1977) became the first films to be screened for 100, 200 and 300 days respectively . And after more than three-and-ahalf decades, Legend has become the first Telugu film to be screened for 400 days" Legend makers will hold a special event in the Kurnool town to celebrate the occasion where Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu is expected to be the chief guest.

Legend features Balakrishna, Radhika Apte and Sonal Chauhan in the lead roles.
