Andhrapori makers in soup over title

A petition has been filed against 'Andhra Pori' objecting to the film's title. In the petition, the Andhra Settlers Forum alleged that the film's title hurt the sentiment of Andhra people.

The film features Puri Jagannadh's son Aakash in the lead role. Andhra Pori is directed by Raj Mudiraju. The film is a remake of the Marathi flick Time Pass. Ulka Gupta is the female lead in Andhra Pori. With the movie all set to hit theaters on Friday, the makers of the film are awaiting the court's verdict.
