Recently, speaking to the media, the Jyothi Lakshmi actress said that Nithin-Puri's film was shelved as Nithin and his father Sudhakar Reddy didn't have finances to make the film. That even landed her into a huge controversy. Charmmee quickly clarified through her Twitter handle and publicly apologized to Nithiin.
It appears that this apology of Charmee has failed to convince Nithiin's father Sudhakar Reddy. Film nagar sources say that Nithin's father has approached Telugu Film Producers Council to take action against Charmmee for her defamatory comments. They are said to have decided to approach the court to file a defamation case.
