Nargis takes up new challenge. Actress Nargis Fakhri, who will soon begin work in cricketer Azharuddin’s biopic ‘Azhar’, where she will be seen, essaying the role of his second wife Sangeeta Bijlani, is considering the film a new ground of exploration and a challenge.

As a part of her preparation for the role, the actress has hired a coach and is also doing her own research – including watching Sangeeta’s films. Before Nargis signed on to play the part, the likes of Kareena Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez were approached for the role.
However, with the two showing no interest, the film fell into the 35-year-old’s kitty. The actress is also unperturbed that the film’s lead Emraan Hashmi, who will play the titular role hasn’t had a hit in some time, and says that this film will probably change that for him.
