Production on season six of Game of Thrones has commenced, with the 10 episodes expected to air in the spring of 2016. McShane came into limelight by playing a homicidal frontier kingpin Al Swearengen on “Deadwood”, then had roles in films like ‘Kung Fu Panda’, ‘Sexy Beast’, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ and ‘John Wick’.
