Anushka is seen pairing with heroes like Prabhas, Aarya, Ajith and Rana in recent films. Nayanathara acted opposite heroes like Suriya, Stalin, Simbu, Aarya and Gopichand. Trisha is also seen working with actors like Jayam Ravi, Ajith and Balakrishna.
Back in 1960s through 1990s, senior heroines like Savitri, Jamuna, Sridevi, Jayaprada and many others acted till 40 years as full-time heroines.
But after that, the career span of heroines became short. But now heroines are getting offers even in their 30s.
This is because old heroes are finding it difficult to cast young heroines opposite them and even some characters need experienced actors to carry them effortlessly.
