Talking about the song at a media interaction in Mumbai, Aishwarya said, "We wanted to stay true to the film. Just because we had Sanjay (Gupta), I and Ahmed Khan, we didn't want to add dance moves. We just kept it very simple and stayed true to the film."
Aishwarya is portraying a criminal lawyer in the film. At the event, the former beauty queen looked stunning in a navy blue top teamed with a pair of jeans and Jimmy Choo heels. Actor Jackie Shroff, who was present at the event, praised his ‘Devdas’ co-star as "one of the best actresses in Bollywood".
The song ‘Bandeyaa’, sung by Jubin Nautiyal and composed by Amjad-Nadeem, is an intense track, and depicts a tragic mood. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, ‘Jazbaa’ will release on Oct 9.
