Nag launches Kalyan Jewellers in city

Cine actor Akkineni Nagarjuna launched the 7 star celebrations of Kalyan Jewellers after inaugurating its renovated showroom on Mahatma Gandhi Road in the city on Wednesday.

Accompanied by Kalyan Jewellers directors Rajesh and Ramesh, he went round the showroom spread over 12,000 sqft in a two-storey complex. He greeted and waved to his fans who thronged the showroom in large numbers.

Speaking to newsmen, Nagarjuna said it was a good experience for him to promote Kalyan Jewellers which is known for hallmark jewellery. He also talked about his forthcoming film `Soggade Chinni Nayana' and his son Akhil’s debut movie which are going to hit the screens on Vijaya Dasami.

Kalyan Jewellers directors Rajesh and Ramesh said, ``Vijayawada is transforming into a jewellery hub of Andhra Pradesh. The renovated showroom offers a whole new collection of gold and diamond jewellery.

It has also come up with a marriage package plan with advance booking facility and a new diamond purchase plan for its customers.’’ Nagarjuna had also launched the Guntur branch of jewellery store on the same day.
