Mahesh adopted village for tax exemption comment by Teja sparks controversy

Fans of Super Star Mahesh Babu are very happy these days following the super success of his latest release Srimanthudu. More than that Mahesh Babu's initiative of adopting two villages has certainly thrilled them.

After Mahesh Babu expressed his desire to adopt villages, several other heroes are coming forward to adopt the village. But director Teja, who is off late in news for his bold talk, made a sensational comment on Mahesh Babu adopting villages. Mahesh worked with Teja for Nijam but the movie bombed at the box office.

Speaking at a promotional event for his upcoming film Hora Hori, Teja said that celebrities are adopting villages to enjoy Income Tax deductions. Replying to a question asked by a film reporter, Teja indirectly said that the actors were adopting villages for tax exemption.

He went a step ahead and said Mahesh could have done it post his Okkadu film if he wanted to adopt a village. These comments of Teja has irked Mahesh fans. Several posts making fun of Teja about his movies are being widely shared by Mahesh fans on Facebook.
