Tiger Sultan to be a Hyderabadi potboiler

There have been many movies in the past, which featured the Hyderabadi lingo but mostly bordered on the humour quotient. However, producer-actor Toufeeq Khan wants to change the perspective of a Hyderabadi movie in his upcoming flick ‘Tiger Sultan’.

It is a romantic-comedy-action-drama flick, which focuses on drug abuse and street fights. The actor claims that it is the biggest budget Hyderabadi movie ever made which employed specialists from the industry.

Speaking on trailer launch of the movie, Toufeeq shares, “Hyderabadis are always perceived as being laidback and having a peculiar mindset but ‘Tiger Sultan’ will change that perception.

In the movie, we will showcase the protagonist (played by Toufeeq himself) fighting the evils of society to safeguard the younger generation from unethical activities.

The movie has all the ingredients of a potboiler and will soon be released in the city apart from other parts of Telangana, Karnataka and Maharashtra.”

“The movie features an exceptional cast and is family oriented. We have the best technicians and professionals from the industry, who made the movie exceptional. It has been shot and edited with a new technology,” added director Sanjay Punjabi.
