The Srimanthudu director learnt that Mahesh Babu's mother Indradevi was born in Musalimadugu and its the native place of Durgamma, the grandmother of Mahesh Babu.
Musalimadugu is located under Burgampadu mandal of Khammam district.
The villagers of Musalimadugu are eagerly waiting for Mahesh Babu to adopt their village.
Koratala Siva told that he would take the Musalimadugu villagers' wish to the notice of Mahesh Babu.
Durgamma used to help poor people in the village and she earned a good name in the neighboring villages also. She passed away eight years ago. The village has no drinking facility or proper roads.
The locals urge Mahesh Babu to adopt the village and develop it. It is a known fact that Mahesh Babu expressed his desire to adopt two villages in both AP and Telangana states. Ever since Mahesh made the announcement, Musalimadugu villagers have also pinned hopes that he would also adopt their village.
