Set to join the shoot of Sreekanth Addala’s ‘Brahmotsavam shortly’, the actor’s forthcoming flick will be directed by ‘Manam’ fame Vikram Kumar.
A source close to the development confirms, “Impressed by ‘Manam’, Mahesh had a meeting with Vikram Kumar last year itself. The actor took a liking to what the director pitched him but since he was occupied with other commitments, he asked Vikram to wait. They have been in touch for the past 16 months and decided it’s time to collaborate early next year. Producer Aswani Dutt will be bankrolling the project and it will be made on a lavish scale.”
The source further adds, “It will be an actioner with a difference and will flag-off once Mahesh is through with ‘Brahmotsavam’ by which Vikram too will be done with ‘24’.
Actorturned- writer Harshvardhan, who penned Vikram’s ‘Ishq’ and ‘Manam’, will be working on the project. Anoop Rubens will render tunes.”
