Telangana filmmaker Syed Rafi has presented a DVD of his latest feature film titled ‘Zameen Hamari Phir Bhi Paraye’ to Congress President Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi.

Telangana filmmaker Syed Rafi has presented a DVD of his latest feature film titled ‘Zameen Hamari Phir Bhi Paraye’ to Congress President Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi.
“The film showcases a rural agricultural family’s sufferings in Telangana and their sacrifices and fight for survival. As a token of gratitude, on behalf of Telangana people,
I have dedicated my film to Sonia Gandhi who has fulfilled the aspirations of the Telangana people by giving them a separate state,” said Syed.
Along with the DVD, the filmmaker presented a portrait of Sonia at 10 Janpath. Former TPCC president Ponnala Laxmaiah accompanied Syed on the occasion.
The movie is produced under the banner Jasmine Arts and is the first film made in typical Telangana Urdu slang which is spoken in rural areas of Telangana.
