Zoa Morani who made her debut with “Always Kabhie Kabhie" dissapeared after the movie failed to garner good collections at the box office. Zoa, however kept herself busy by performing in Hindi plays. Zoa belongs to a family who are known to organize many Bollywood events as well producing films. But this sweet little chirpy girl is very cool and grounded. Her second film, "Bhaag Johnny starring Kunal Khemu has already released and is doing well at the box office. The actress reveals a bit more about herself in an exclusive interview.

Delay in her second movie after "Always Kabhi Kabhi":

"Nothing was decided but after Always Kabhi Kabhi, I met Salim Arif and my co-star Ali Fazal told me to do theatre as it was important for an actor but I was scared. I did really good roles. Our show Taj Mahal Ka Udghatan is a comedy show we are going to Dubai. Even before we could mouth our dialogues the audience started laughing. Vrijesh Hirjee told me to control myself. I got many offers but I didn't take them up. Now I am ready for Bhaag Johnny."
Her career choice as an actress:

"I gave a lot of Auditions. I met a lot of people through my father. You have to have that talent to get into films. I have struggled a lot. I have always wanted to become an actress. I would go for live shows with Papa and I would enjoy them, we cousins would get together and perform at home."
Taking her dad's help in films:

"I will go to my papa and tell him to make a film for me when I am ready. When I compare myself I still feel I have to do a lot more. I had done theatre earlier. It was a learning experience."
Growth from Always Kabhi Kabhi and Bhaag Johnny:

"When I was launched in Always Kabhi Kabhi we were treated as school kids. I never felt that I was a heroine. In Bhaag Johnny I feel I am a heroine. I have done romantic scenes and action sequences. I have got a chance to show my skills. "
Pampered actress:

"I was not at all pampered on the sets of Bhaag Johnny. We were shot during the summers in Thailand there was no vanity van. There was nothing glamorous about the shoot."
Learning from Shahrukh since debut from his production house:

"I have seen Shah Rukh since my childhood. He has achieved so much without any God father. He is still dedicated and focused towards his profession with passion. He gives importance to smaller things in life. When I feel tired I remember him because he is so dedicated. He doesn't complain. That attitude of his puts me back on my feet."
Film with Shyam Benegal:

"I was in Delhi and was called for audition here. Even Neetu Chandra was there and they wanted me to speak Haryanvi. Shyam Benegal told me that you have given good auditions don't feel sad if you don't get the role. I felt I got an award. The producers called me and said that I was selected. They told me to come and sign the contract but Shyam sir said that nothing was decided. There was a new hero opposite me. But even the producer disappeared. The film was not titled."
Fitness regime:

"I do shanghai Yoga it’s amazing. It's very good. I have become a vegetarian. I have changed a lot after doing Yoga. I start at 7.00 a.m. In life, something has changed and I love what I do now. I want to do everything. Earlier I had a lot negativity within me, I was scared and impatient. I had a lot of greed and anger but that has all gone away. I am happy with life now. I tried all forms of diet and exercises but nothing helped. My anxiety levels only increased. I spend my day very well and Universe is giving me things back. I am getting good work and am enjoying this phase. I don't know what I am but things are looking good now. I go jogging on the beach and I dance. I had tried all diets and exercise. I love eating but I don't eat non-veg now. Not much non-veg is cooked in the house as papa does not eat red meat because of his health. My mom is also a vegetarian so it was not difficult. My guruji says eat everything within limits but eat healthy and good food and on time."
Religious belief:

"I am a Krishna devotee. My mother is a Christian and dad is a Muslim. I loved all the Indian festivals right from Ganpati to Diwali and Lord Krishna. I go to the temple and I didn't know anything about Temples but now I love going there as I meditate a lot."
