Puli may not beat Baahubali collections at box office

Expectations were so high on the film that fans thoight that it would beat the collections of SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali. Puli has an impressive star cast and Vijay is seen in a never before seen avatar in the film.
With stars like Sridevi who's making a comeback to Kollywood after nearly three decades, Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep in a negative role and pretty ladies Hansika Motwani and Shruti Haasan, the audience expected a super hit from Chimbu Devan. But the film has failed to impress the audience and trade pundits predict that it won't even cross Vijay's earlier films' collections.
Despite all the hype created by the trailers and promotions, the film is disappointing. The climax is weak and the audience seem to be coming out with the same thought Chimbu Devan- better luck next time.
Puli may not make as much money as Baahubali and at least half collections.
