Actor Sundeep Kishan’s new movie, ‘Okka Ammai Thappa’, with writer Rajasimha was launched on Friday in Hyderabad. Anji Reddy, who was one of the producers of recent hit ‘Cinema Choopista Maava’, will be bankrolling the project, a romantic entertainer laden with visual effects.
Speaking after the muhurat, Sundeep Kishan said, “Rajasimha narrated a script in 2012.
I didn’t endorse it. He wanted to narrate another one and though I didn’t felt the urge to listen, I eventually heard it. I liked it (Okka Ammai Thappa script).
It’s a love story of a smart college guy.” To go on floors from October 10, the makers are planning to wrap up the project by December. Sundeep’s leading lady is yet to be finalised. Chota K Naidu will handle the cinematography.
