Announcing this at a presser in Hyderabad on Wednesday, film’s producer C Kalyan said that contrary to the films that Varma has been associated with of late, ‘Attack’ is a set on a large scale. Varma said that film is a hard-hitting drama.

“C Kalyan forced me to do this film,” chuckled the maverick maker who kept his speech brief. “I’ve presented Manoj in a very realistic way.” Manoj insisted that that he is a “big fan of Varma.” “I’ve been waiting to collaborate with him for a long time. One fine day he called me and spoke about ‘Attack’ and I jumped at the offer straightaway. It is an intense drama,” he said.
