The movie has received a positive response from the audience while tickets at most theatres are already sold out for the weekend. Rudramadavi, touted to be the first periodic 3D film is said to have released in 25000 theaters worldwide.
The trade pundits predict that the movie is expected to collect nearly Rs 20 crore on its first day and it may beat the first day collections of Srimanthudu which collected Rs 19 crore at the worldwide box office.
The film, which is about life of Queen Rudramadevi of the Kakatiya dynasty, stars Anushka, Rana Daggubati, Allu Arjun and Nithya Menen in the lead roles.
