Making remakes Tollywood style
From the past 4 months Tollywood has come up with several original stories. While some became blockbusters, some ended as duds. Leaving the routine movies, no one attempted remakes in the last 4 months except Vishnu’s ‘Dynamite’.

But now it appears that our heroes have decided to play it safe by relying on stories from other languages.

Although it is not officially confirmed, Mega star Chiranjeevi is ready to act in Tamil remake of ‘Kaththi’. Legendary actor Kamal Haasan is coming up with ‘Cheekati Rajyam’ which is a remake of French film of 2011 vintage ‘Sleepless Night’. ‘Oopiri,’ starring Nagarjuna and Karthi, too is based on French comedy film ‘The Intouchables’. While Venkatesh decided to act in a remake of Malayalam film ‘Bhaskar-the rascal’, Harish Shankar is planning to remake Hindi film ‘Special 26’ with Ravi Teja.
It is already known that Ram Charan is going to act in Telugu version of ‘Thani Oruvan’ which is directed by Surrender Reddy and Naga Chaitanya is acting in the remake of Malayalam ‘Premam’. Now young heroes like Nara Rohit, Sundeep Kishan and Tarun have also selected remakes.
