A few days before the release of Bruce Lee, Dasari called a press conference and advised Ram Charan to postpone the release date of Bruce Lee as historical films like Rudramadevi should run freely. Now, Dasari issued a media statement congratulating three films which scored a hit.
"Three small films, Kanche, Raju Gari Gadhi and Columbus, which released for Dasari festival have become super hits. Hereby, I congratulate the technical crew and actors of those films", said Dasari said in his statement.
He did not mention anything about Bruce Lee. The buzz in the industry is that Dasari has indirectly targeted Bruce Lee with his statement.
