Akhil is said to have been disappointed about the movie postponement. Recently, in an interview, Akhil mentioned his favourite actors to be Mahesh Babu and Chiranjeevi. Apparently, Nagarjuna is angry on Akhil for not saying his name.

With Nagarjuna's involvement in Akhil postponement, Akhil is said to have not spoken to his father because of the hasty decision. Akhil who had to attend a press conference about the postponement of film chose not to respond.
If the rumours are to believed, Nagarjuna is said to have supported his best friend Mega Star Chiranjeevi for Bruce Lee by postponing Akhil's debut movie.
