The negative talk for Akhil Akkineni's recent release Akhil has landed the producers in trouble. According to sources, Nithiin and distributors of Akhil have incurred huge losses as the film failed to draw audiences to the theaters. According to media reports Akhil has caused a loss of nearly Rs 20 crore for producers Nithiin and Sudhakar Reddy. On an average, say experts, distributors and theater owners made only 40 per cent of what they invested.
Reports say that a group of distributors and cinema theatre owners are demanding refunds from Nithiin. It is said that King Nagarjuna has come forward to the rescue of Nithiin and assured distributors that he would settle the issue.
