Earlier, it was annouced that VV Vinayak would wield the megaphone for Chiru's much awaited film However, within days Puri Jagannadh's name started making the rounds. Later grapevine was abuzz with talks that both Charan and Chiru were unimpressed by Puri's concept note.
In between as a consolation to mega fans, Chiru made a guess appearance in Charan's Bruce Lee which was also a disaster. Following that, there were talks that Chiru was reprising the role of Illayathalapathy Vijay in the Telugu remake of the Tamil hit Kaththi which was a Box office hit.
Later, we heard that Chiru had decided it was not the best movie to make a comeback with a bang. The latest rumour doing the rounds in filmnagar circles is that Matala Mantrikudu Trivikram Srinivas who has churned out hits like Atharintiki Daredi, Julayi and Nuvve Nuvve has been approached to come up with a killer script for Chiranjeevi's comeback film.
