"Baahubali: The Beginning" may have become a huge box office success and earned praises for the use of VFX, but its cinematographer K K Senthil Kumar says he was disappointed with CGI errors which made many scenes look fake.
Their costumes magically change as soon as a song begins, wherein Tammanah chases Prabhas after he tattoos her shoulder.
The first part of the epic film directed by S S Rajamouli starred Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty in lead roles.

The movie went on to become one of the highest grossing Indian films in the country and abroad.

"As a DOP, I am disappointed by a lot of things in 'Baahubali'. There are so many scenes where there were keying mistakes, which made the CGI look fake. There were issues related to the depth of field, there are motion blurs.

"So we are trying to rectify this problem in the second film. I hope it get a slicker image," Kumar said on the sidelines of IFFI.

The cinematographer, who has also worked in films like "Magadheera", "Arundhati", "Eega" and has shot a song for Rohit Shetty's much-awaited "Dilwale" starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, says for him making the second part of "Baahubali" is going to be very challenging.

"I didn't expect the first film to be so successful. Now the real challenge is to take it to the next level. The first part was just the introduction. The second part is really the core story. Ultimately, cinema is about the emotional content and about storytelling," he said.
Bahubali, apart from possessing some kickass talents, like procuring a fountain pen from twigs, also has shoes that appear out of nowhere. How’s that for a sole-ful performance? The iconic scene where Bahubali jumps from one cliff to another would require him to take a longer run up. But him being Bahubali, and this being a Bolly flick, it doesn’t really matter! This mammoth film has some equally enormous plotholes!Bahubali’s attire changes as soon as he enters Mahishmati, and he even manages to conjure a horse out of mid-air! Damn.Bahubali is never shown to be carrying the mask, even as he scales the waterfalls in order to reach Mahishmati. But when he wants to impress Tamannah, the mask conveniently reappers from hundreds of kilometers away! Just towards the end of the Pacha Bottesi song, a ribbon knot appears out of nowhere!Sticking to the Bollywood logic of “if it’s a song, the clothes have to change,” Bahubali and Bhallaldeva’s attire changes as soon a song begins.
