Sudheer Varma gets Ravi Teja’s nod

Director Sudheer Varma, who made films like ‘Swamy Ra Ra’ and ‘Dohchay’, is set to direct Ravi Teja next. Apparently, the talks between the two have been going on for a while now. Thrilled to have finally got a 'go-ahead' from the superstar recently, Sudheer is presently giving finishing touches to the script.

"Sudheer recently met Ravi Teja to pitch the plot line, an action drama laced with thriller elements. The actor has liked it very much, suggested some changes and asked the director to come up with the final screenplay and script with a few enhancements. He should be ready with the bound script soon," shared a source close to the development.

Apparently, the young filmmaker, according to the source, is keen to present a hitherto unexplored side of Ravi Teja. "It would be premature to talk about Ravi’s characterisation now. He has a whacky side to him (other than the regular style) that hasn't come out so much in the roles he's played so far, and Sudheer is keen to tap into it. The film will be a different Ravi Teja affair albeit with his trademark entertainment in abundance,” adds the source. The film will go on floors next year after Ravi Teja wraps up his current endeavour, ‘Yevado Okadu’.
