While there has been a lot of speculation surrounding NTR’s role in his in-progress venture ‘Nannaku Prematho’, particularly after the actor broke the internet and won the hearts of many with his new makeover, Hans Talkies has exclusively learnt that the actor will be playing an NRI in the project.NTR, known to play his character to the tee, will be seen in the role of a UK born and raised NRI who later visits India on a mission. This is the first time the actor, in his 15-year career, is playing such a role.
Apparently, the actor did a lot of research to be able to sink his teeth into the character. He spent quality time in UK and interacted with people to get his accent right. Since he plays a British-born, the film was majorly shot in UK (London especially).
For his role, the actor had to reinvent himself in terms of styling and even shed a few kilos to look leaner than in his earlier film ‘Temper’. He was on a crash diet and began muscling up as the film progressed. Tipped to be a family drama with thrill factors, Rakul Preet Singh will be seen alongside NTR.
