Lavanya visits Bali after volcanic eruption

Lavanya Tripathi, who is currently shooting for a handful of Telugu films, recently embarked on a long-pending holiday. The actress along with her bestie backpacked for a 10-day holiday trip to Indonesia and has just returned to the city.

Talking about the break, she says, “I’m a travel freak. I was yearning to take a break for the past one-and-a- half year but could not due to my erratic schedules. I’m glad that I finally had it.”

The model-turned-actress is thrilled to have visited Bali, where a volcano erupted in the first week of last month. “Visiting Bali was on my travel itinerary. I was keen to check it out post the volcanic explosion.

After reaching Surabaya, we were told that Bali airport was shut down following the eruption and there were no flights. So we took a train to reach Bali. It was a 16-hour journey. I spent a day at Bali and witnessed the aftermath of the volcanic eruption. It was an amazing experience,” she shares.
