Megapower star Ram Charan was so impressed with Tamil thriller "Thani Oruvan" that he wanted to remake in Telugu. The latest buzz in Tollywood is that Arvind Swamy, who played as baddie in the original film, might be roped in to play the villain role in the Telugu remake. But sources say that Charan is yet to take a final call on it.
He recently returned to Hyderabad from a long vacation in US. There were reports that Nagarjuna and Rajasekhar were approached for the villain role in the film. ‘Thani Oruvan’, a thriller, starring Jayam Ravi in the lead, has grossed Rs 51.08 crore in 10 days worldwide. Directed by Ravi's brother M Raja, the film also features Arvind Swamy and Nayanthara in important roles.
