Dil Raju, Maruthi join forces for Rojulu Marayi
Producer Dil Raju, who has shifted focus to small-budgeted films once again, has teamed up with director Maruthi for a new project titled ‘Rojulu Marayi’. Shreyas Srinivas, we hear, is also partnering them in the effort, which is half-way through.
Tejaswi, Parvateesam, Kruthika Jayakumar and newcomer Chetan are playing key roles
Producer Dil Raju, who has shifted focus to small-budgeted films once again, has teamed up with director Maruthi for a new project titled ‘Rojulu Marayi’. Shreyas Srinivas, we hear, is also partnering them in the effort, which is half-way through. While there has been no official communication about the film as such yet, Muralikrishna, former assistant to Chandrasekhar Yeleti, is welding the megaphone.
A source close to the development said, “It is a comedy laced with thriller elements. It went on to floors in August and the final schedule commenced recently. It revolves around four characters played by Tejaswi, Parvateesam, Kruthika Jayakumar and newcomer Chetan. Tejaswi is paired opposite Parvateesam.” The source further added that shoot will be wrapped up by January-end. “It is being shot on a shoe-string budget.”
