Malaika hopes to open a restaurant soon

Malaika Arora Khan started her journey in showbiz as a model and went on to become an actress, host and a producer. But for her, there are still miles to go as she wants to open a restaurant with a blend of fashion with food.

"I don't think I am closer to my dream. Every day I am getting closer to my dreams but I don't think I am there yet. There is a lot more I want to achieve; I want to open my restaurant someday," Malaika said.

"I am very passionate about food. I want to bring fashion and food together because at the end of the day, they go hand-in-hand," she added.

The sultry actress, who is married to Arbaaz Khan, son of veteran writer Salim Khan, asserts that her in-laws have never objected to her work and have stood by her throughout.

"My in-laws are not the type to impose anything on anybody. They don't do it on their kids, I don't think they would do it on their kid's respective spouses. In fact, they have always been very encouraging; everytime I would do a song, my mother-in-law and my father-in-law say, 'beta you are looking very nice, you've danced so well'. So its never been a point of concern or issue," she said.
