Story:
Gautham (Nikhil) is a happy go lucky NRI guy. But he has to face a very low phase in his life when his father (Suman) gets cheated by his friends and is bankrupted. His father has to face arrest with lock of funds in the US. This is when Gautham's mother Sitara tells him about the Sankarabharanam Palace in Bihar. Goutham comes to Bihar to sell the place and clear the debts. He meets Rao Ramesh and his family members who have been staying in the palace for the past 15 years. Local gangs of Pandeyji (Sampath Raj) kidnap them thinking that Gautham is a rich NRI and demands money.

What happens next? Will Gautham who is already bankrupted arrange money for the kidnappers? Will he repay the money that his father owes the bank?.

To find out the answers to them watch the movie on big screen.

Performances:
Nikhil is very much convincing as a easy going NRI with his accent and does fair justice to his role. He looks handsome with his tonned body and hairstyle.

Nandita has performed well but there is no chemistry between her and Nikhil in the film. Anjali as a woman gang leader has performed well and gives the role her best shot. she plays Munni's character in the film. Like how the Telugu audience connected her with Sitha in SVSC, from now on they may remember her as Munni too. Though her role is limited, she does best job.

There are many more characters in the film. 30yrs Industry- Prithvi and Saptagiri need a special mention and their introduction scenes evoke good laughs. Sampath Raj as a villain fits the bill and others including Rao Ramesh, Shakalaka Shankar, Harshavardhan and Krishnabhagavan performed accordingly.

Technical

Praveen Lakkaraju's music and background score is very impressive, but the placement of the songs spoil the mood of audience. Cinematography is good. Editing could have been better (First half in particular). Uday Nandanavanam's direction is ok but he has failed to match the standards of original film Phas Gaye Obama. The narration of the film is also barely gripping and lacks exciting elements. The producer has put in good money to make sure Shankarabaranam has rich production values.

Plus Points:
Nikhil
Nandita and Anjali's performances
Prudvi, Saptagiri
Climax

Minus Points:
Story
Dragged first half
Narration
Twists
Forced comedy
Analysis: There were high expectations on the film as Kona Venkat provided screenplay and he himself is involved in the direction.
But his contribution somehow lacks depth and his comedy has fallen flat this time. It seems Kona Venkat has not learnt from his 'rival' friend Srinu Vaitla whose two big films Aagadu and Bruce Lee failed at the box office due to lack of entertainment and forced comedy sequences.
Dragged first half and weak second half make the movie least entertaining in Kona Venkat's career.
