Following the path of the 28-year-old rapper, who won two Grammys in 2015, are Taylor Swift and The Weeknd, who each earned seven nominations, including album of the year.

Others running in the race of Album of the Year are Alabama Shakes and Chris Stapleton, while Courtney Barnett, James Bay, Sam Hunt, Tori Kelly and Meghan Trainor are taking their run for the best new artist. Record of the Year nominees are D'Angelo, Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and the Weeknd.
