When a girl from the group posed RGV a question on why he only likes Sridevi's thighs and why not others, RGV replied in his style. He said that girls have no respect for men's thighs. "It should be vice versa. men have to like women's thighs and girls also do the same. I have a good respect on women's thighs so wrote a good book," he said.
When asked as why to why he chose Guns and Thighs as the name of his book, the controversial director said that he picked thighs and then guns, because those two are the most powerful elements that scare people.
