Aksha floored by Balayya

Aksha will be seen as one of the leading ladies in superstar Balakrishna’s forthcoming film ‘Dictator’. The Mumbai actress, naturally, is euphoric about her part in the actioner.

Describing about her character, the doe-eyed beauty says, “I play a girl from Delhi who is level-headed, strong minded and very helpful of her friends.

It’s a pivotal role and comes at a crucial juncture in the film. It was beautifully written and I’m thankful to the makers for giving me such a role. As the film progresses, the many layers to it will be revealed.”

The ‘Kandireega’ girl admits to being nervous initially to work with Balakrishna, but says she was thrilled after sharing screen with him. “Yeah, I was initially apprehensive but after working with him I realised Balakrishna sir is a gem.

It has been a learning experience observing and performing with him. Although he's a big star, he was down-to-earth, very supportive and made me feel extremely comfortable on the sets. I bonded with him well.”

For the past few days, gossip mills went abuzz with the news that the director is keen on Nayan, who is Balayya’s lucky mascot, to play a cameo. “No, she hasn’t been approached for any role,” he set the record straight when contacted. He also said that the film is due for Sankranti.
