Melbourne : The Reddit post seems to have fulfilled the wish of New York weightlifter, who is battling with terminal brain cancer, as he got a chance to speak with his idol Arnold Schwarzenegger.Seeing the plea of the man's brother (under the username 'Courser'), the 68-year-old replied, "I am still in Europe so I have to say this was an inspiring thing to wake up to. I've reached out to Courser but I wanted to let all of you know that you're amazing. This is the power of [R]eddit to do great things, and I'm proud of all of you, even though you filled my inbox - because you filled my inbox", News.com.au reports.
Urging, the 'Terminator Genisys' actor to meet his dying brother, Username Courser said that his brother Todd, who has severe learning disabilities and autism, is a great fan of his idol Schwarzenegger and loves his movies.
Responding to the plea, one user wrote, "@Schwarzenegger you should definitely #helptodd and his dreams come true. Make his last Christmas the best ever."
Notably, Todd McCaffery, 52, finally got the chance to speak to his idol for a few minutes via video chat.
