Five heroes in one flim

The buzz surrounding director Krishna Vamsi’s next project has just gotten bigger. Titled ‘Rudhraksha’, the film, according to sources, will feature five heroes and two heroines. The acclaimed maker is currently giving final touches to the script.

A source close to the unit says, “After ‘Govindudu Andarivaadele’, the director wanted to experiment with a new genre. He had been dabbling with the idea of making a sci-fi thriller for quite some time and has been working towards it. Joining forces with producer Dil Raju for this project is a step in that direction.”

The source insists that Krishna Vamsi is keen on setting global standards with the film. “It’ll be one of the most expensive films to be ever made in India and the director is leaving no stone unturned in this regard and thus is considering a stellar cast,” the source adds.

Recently, tinsel town was abuzz with the reports that Anushka will be one of the lead actresses, but the source points out, “It’s premature to comment about the leading ladies at this stage. None of the cast, except for Prakash Raj, has been finalised.”
