Kajol’s energy mantra is very simple, I always keep myself fresh with a care free kind of an attitude. I really dont give a damn to what any one may be thinking about me. I don’t think I have anything to hide, I believe my energy levels remain boosted simply because I feel I am a little more easy going person.

Kajol’s energy mantra is very simple, "I always keep myself fresh with a care free kind of an attitude. I really don't give a damn to what any one may be thinking about me. I don’t think I have anything to hide, I believe my energy levels remain boosted simply because I feel I am a little more easy going person.”

About being presentable in today's pseudo aristocratic world especially belonging to the film fraternity Kajol says, "Yes, I am a lazy person. I do not like to deck up a lot. But belonging to the World of Glitz and glamour, I take a little care to be presentable at least and also try to keep up with the fashion trends. I have been lately bestowed upon an award of being fashionable – this really surprised me a lot.”

Giving a latest example she adds, "I remember while I had to take a flight to Hyderabad during Dilwale shoot in Hyderabad. I was simply dressed in my rut fatti jeans; I was really shocked when at about 6:30 A.M when the photographers were already waiting for me at the Airport to click pictures. Anyway I was not very comfortable and that guy was also doing his job so I was simply praying that my pix should go out focus!!" She laughs aloud.

Being compared to her aunt Nutan, mom and grand mom she says, "I was compared with my family members’ right from my first film. I am proud of their achievement though I think the biggest thing which speaks for you is your hard work. And so my family members’ credit I cannot take away from them nor do I will allow them to take away the credit to the hard work I have put in. However, I am proud about all their achievements, similarly my parents and other near and dear ones also feel proud about the hard work I have put in until this day."

Kajol herself is like a kiddo mother ask her that and she says, "Yes I am very loveable to kids as I enjoy spending time with them. There is no two ways about me really being the combination of Hitler mom and a loveable mom. From an early age I desired to become a mother. I always got along very well with the kids. I remember while I was just 8 years old I would nig nag my mom telling her –“I want to become a mother” my mom then told me,” You should at least grow up to the age of 12 to be a mother. But when I turned 12 then I was told that I need to turn 18 to be a mother. But finally when I turned 18, I myself realized that, Ab shaadi ke baad hi ma banugi!! [Ill now become a mother only after getting married]". She laughs aloud.

On spending time with kids, "I like to spend a lot of time with my kids. My son Yug loves to watch that video, “Hulk.” There is an orange and an apple that talk to each other. While he is watching this video I sit down with a book as reading is my hobby. After watching the video my son keeps telling me –mama you should feed my healthy things like apple…sometimes I feel what’s going on in his mind but its fine with me. Sitting with him I love to watch anything and everything what he would love to watch. I really have fun with him.”

Kajol’s daughter Nysa is fond of Ajay’s films more than Kajol’s films, "Yes! She has seen,”DDLJ in parts and like a critic she told me –‘you look good in a few scenes. However, you always keep crying why you don’t take up good films like dad’s films –Golmaal. I was like okay baby I will try to come up to your choice of films. I was lucky that Rohit came up with,”Dilwale” which is really a different film and I took it up immediately. I think, Dilwale is different because until today whatever film Shahrukh and I have done –those films have been out and out rom-com. But Dilwale is deviated from the field of sheer romance. It is an intense love story with lots of angst in it. With a lot of tu tu Mein Mein in it. We are doing this kind of a love story for the first time.”

About choosing a film Kajol adds, "Look! I am not doing films because I need to work. So if I take up a film it has to be worth taking away my family time. I have to be away from my family for almost 100 days or so. Keeping away from kids I will do only if I like the script, simple. Also when I am away doing my work I am 100 percent in that space. I can wholely depend on my mom-in-law who will take enough care of my family while I am away. So when doing films I do not think about home. Unless, it is something urgent. My family and the support system are very strong I can really depend upon them. They will call me up if some emergency has risen like if any of my kids may have fallen sick or so.”

Kajol is a multi tasking woman herself like many more, she adds, "Yes! Women have been taught to be multi-tasking from their childhood days. A woman is a mother, wife, sister and also works as a CEO. I was also taught to full fill all these roles from time to time…so needless to say that we all women can easily fulfil all our duties what may come. I have tried to be doing everything to the best of my ability. But I personally feel I have been successfully enjoyed being a "Mother” more than being anything else.

Kajol hates cooking, "Yes! I have all good cooks at home. Ajay makes good food, my father in law also cooks well. Lately, my daughter Nysa has also started cooking….koi toh khane walal hona chahiye na!! When I have so many hands to give me delicious food to eat then why should I cook.” She smiles.

Turning nostalgic, Kajol reminisces while she would travel to Mahalaxmi to her father’s office, "I do miss all those days. Travelling now will not be possible. But when I go to London, I walk down the London streets for long hours. Owing to my celebrity status I cannot walk free here.”

Adding about trying to move freely in order to keep her kids happy Kajol says, "Undeniably, even now I do not deprive my children from taking them along with me sometimes. I take them to Santacruz also to different malls. They also take me to the theatres to watch films. Every child wishes to go along with their parents as well. How much satisfaction will they get when they go out with other relatives? But yes I have made them understand that they are kids of Celebs’ so they have to dress up properly for the occasion. Though its so strange that I have to teach them all that. But I did this to them –mar mar ke sikhaya hai meien yeh baat Nysa ko," she adds with a smile on her face.

Adding more she says, "I remember when Nysa was just 2 years old; I had travelled to visit to Ajmer. But to my surprise I don’t know how? I was crowded from all the sides cameras were flashing and the crowd had turned berserk. Nysa had become very frightened she started crying. I just kept her close to my bosom and walked fast straight to my car…..this incident made me realize that I need to explain my kids about our celebrity status beforehand only. Also then I just had only one security with me.”
