A family entertainer from Dhanush and Samantha

Tamil superstar Dhanush says his Friday release ‘Nava Manmadhudu’ (Thangamagan in Tamil) is a perfect family entertainer. “It addresses family relations and everyone will connect with it. I’m playing a good son in the film, which focuses on my life before and after marriage,” said Dhanush. He, accompanied by Samantha, was speaking at a promotional event of the film in Hyderabad recently.

Heaping high praise on Dhanush, Samantha, who is playing his wife in the film, said, “He is a great actor. I felt honoured to rub shoulders with him. “My role is something that I haven’t done till now. The audience will get to see a brand new performance from me.” Directed by cinematographer-turned-director Velraj, the film is being distributed in Telugu by N Venkatesh.
