Bandla Ganesh in talks with Akhil

Looks like actor-producer Bandla Ganesh, after a year hiatus, is set to return to film production with Akhil Akkineni’s next. The producer whose last release was ‘Temper’ has dropped enough hints of making a film with the third generation Akkineni actor lately.

In this regard, Hans Talkies has reliably learnt Ganesh is in indeed in ‘serious negotiations’ with the actor, who made his debut with the box-office turkey ‘Akhil’ two months ago, for a possible project.

A source close to the producer confirmed, “Yes, he is interested in doing a film with Akhil and is pressing hard for it to materialise. Despite Akhil recently insisting that he hasn’t signed his second flick yet, the talks between him and Ganesh have been going on secretly.”

When asked whether Puri Jagannadh, who is close friends with Ganesh will helm the flick, the source said, “It’s too early to talk about it right now. There’s a possibility for him to direct it but it boils down to Nagarjuna’s decision.” Known as a lucky hand for beginners, Puri has also worked with Nagarjuna for films like ‘Sivamani’ and ‘Super’.
