New Delhi: After enthralling Mumbai, Disney India's timeless classic 'Beauty and The Beast' has come to Delhi and witnessed amazing turn up of celebrities on the red carpet event.

Celebrities like J.J.Valaya, Terrence Lewis, Riddhima Kapoor, Gauri Nainika and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia graced the event.

J.J.Valaya, in an exclusive conversation with ANI, spoke about his love for Disney and how he would love to fill the entire musical production with his models, "I would like to plunk a 150 models in the middle of the stage and let them come out with Disney character that would be so fascinating. Our whole job is to dream and when really great minds come together something fascinating comes out, you never know when and how."

The musical has been choreographed by Bollywood's renowned choreographer Terence Lewis who spoke to ANI about his experience of working with Disney India, "The India Broadway production of 'Beauty and The Beast' is by far the largest in terms of cast and crew, production value and in standards. I would say that this production of 'Beauty and The Beast' comes somewhat closer to the world best musical 'Cirque du Soleil' from Canada."

He further added, "I have worked really hard on the dancers. These dancers are not Broadway trained and to make them unlearn what they've been learning over years and adapt the style of Broadway was a task. We have been practicing for 6 months literally and for one month we have rehearsed with costumes, make-up, music etc just to get every que right. So, this production is just not like any fast food, a lot has gone into it."

'The Beauty and the Beast' musical has been completely developed in India, while retaining the original script and memorable music of the Broadway show.
The production is in English, of 130 minutes duration, with select shows in Delhi from 19th to 27th December 2015.
