Sravanthi Movies ropes in Ala Ela helmer
Director Anish Krishna of ‘Ala Ela’ fame will team up with Sravanthi Ravi Kishore for his second film. The director, we hear, has been travelling with the producer for the past 10 months.
Chances of Ram featuring in the flick are high. If he comes on board, he will shoot for the project simultaneously with Santosh Srinivas’ next
Director Anish Krishna of ‘Ala Ela’ fame will team up with Sravanthi Ravi Kishore for his second film. The director, we hear, has been travelling with the producer for the past 10 months.
“Anish narrated a plotline to the producer early this year and impressed by it, the former asked the latter to develop it. Ravi has even asked Anish to develop a subject that he had with him.
He wanted to make it with Sharwanand but since the actor was occupied with ‘Express Raja’, the project was put on the backburner,” said a source.
The source added that Anish, who was approached by the likes of RB Chowdary, Sudhakar Reddy and Anil Sunkara among others for his second film, is now ready with his own script.
“He has completed penning the script a fortnight ago. It will be a romedy with thriller elements and he is pretty confident about it. Though the script is a given, he shall narrate it to Ravi Kishore soon.”
The source added that there are chances for Ram to star in the flick. “It will boil down to the performance of Ram’s next, ‘Nenu Sailaja’. If it clicks, the chances of Anish directing Ram would be brighter.” - Nagaraj Goud
