Noted Tollywood faces – Sravanthi Ravi Kishore, BVSN Pasad, Rasool Ellore and Sharrath Marar among others – attended a dinner hosted by Nils Ragnar Kamsvåg, The Norwegian Ambassador to India, recently in the city.

The purpose of the dinner was to encourage Telugu industry to consider Norway as a potential location for film shootings. The job, however, turned out to be not so difficult, as positive feedback emerged from some of the guests who have recently been to Norway.

Sravanthi Ravi Kishore, who chose Norway for a couple of numbers for his nephew Ram-starrer ‘Shivam’ last year, said that his crew had a great time in Norway and that they will visit the country again for his future endeavours.

Kamsvåg, who made a presentation on Norway’s new policy of giving subsidies to film and TV productions, said, “We are here to assist and help interested productions in choosing Norway as their film destination.

We have always had beautiful, untouched locations to offer, but now it also comes with a lucrative government policy, that we hope, will create more confidence among interested producers to choose Norway.”
