Shubra eyeing Bollywood

Shubra Aiyappa, who made her Tollywood debut opposite Nara Rohit in ‘Prathinidhi’, is now looking forward to Bollywood projects. “I have been getting several offers after my cameo appearance in Kannada film ‘Vajrakaya’.

I got a couple of offers last year but I have turned down but now I’m planning for a Bollywood project. I’m working on my Hindi diction, voice modulation, expressions and various other personality features. I’m also working out to shed the flab and taking up dance classes,” she explains.

The actress is on the anvil of signing a Hindi film but is tightlipped about it. “I’m excited with the prospect of signing a new project but I’m still in talks and cannot reveal any details until I sign it,” Shubra reveals.

The former model will be seen as a modern girl attitude in her long delayed Telugu film ‘Yavvanam Oka Fantasy’ directed by Veera Prasad Neelam. ‘I would be seen as an urban girl with attitude in the youthful drama. It’s a strong role that reflects today’s women who are determined to take on any challenges.”
