Mahesh will be ruthlessly powerful in Jana Gana Mana

Together they’ve delivered the monster hit ‘Pokiri’ and the very successful ‘Businessman’. And now after a gap of four years, actor Mahesh Babu and director Puri Jagannadh will be coming together for ‘Jana Gana Mana’. Though the director has been dropping hints about collaborating with his favourite actor for the past couple of years, seems like he has finally convinced the superstar with a patriotic drama.

On the occasion of ‘Pokiri’ clocking a decade on Thursday, Puri, in a tweet, said that ‘Jana Gana Mana’, will see Mahesh in a character that is more ruthless and powerful than his last two outings with him. "You all know my love for @urstrulyMahesh. I assure you that this time he will be more ruthless than Pokkiri n more powerful than Businessman (sic)," Puri posted addressing Mahesh fans.

To this Mahesh replied, “@purijagan looking forward to another memorable film sir (sic).” The film is likely to go on floors only after Mahesh wraps up his untitled project with AR Murugadoss, launch of which is likely to take place on Krishna’s birthday on May 31.
